  Let me begin by telling you a little bit about my background before we get into the the world of relationship marketing.  I served in the Army as a counter artillery radar operator from 2003 to 2007,  I suffered a back injury and was medically discharged.  After separation from the military I had to find a job, which I had no problem doing (after my 6 month unemployment vacation).  I got a job working pest control for a family owned business and things were great... well sort of.   I'm not sure how many of you have worked for family owned companies, but for those of you who have you'll know exactly what I'm talking about.  The priorities of the company weren't always those with the best interest of the company in mind.  Well our problem was our owner (who is getting up there in age) let his incompetent daughter be the office manager.  She would show up for a couple hours a week, scatter some papers around, make a couple phone calls, yell at customers and employees alike when she was having bad days and mostly just gum up the works.  Well her and I had very different ideas on how a business should be run, and what the duties of a "manager" should be. We had our spats, as well as just about every employee who ever worked there did, and no matter how wrong she was, the boss always sided with her.  As you could imagine it wasn't a fun working environment and we only dealt with her on a limited basis!  Well eventually it hit a breaking point, I'll leave out the details but it ended with me being fired, over the phone, after five years of dedicated service to that company.  So what do I do now?
